To identify the quality of shoes, we need to focus on both appearance and internal indicators. Since the internal indicators often need to rely on testing instruments, for a consumer, it is more practical to identify the quality of shoes from the appearance. From the appearance, the quality of the shoes is mainly judged by the quality and workmanship of the materials (including the upper, the sole, and the lining) of the shoes. The size can be measured, and the craftsmanship is mainly based on visual inspection, hand touch, pinching and pushing.
Viewed from the upper (upper)
The upper is one of the main components of the shoe. For smooth shoes, it depends on whether they are soft and plump, and whether there is a loose surface after pressing the upper by hand. For the upper of suede shoes, attention should be paid to check whether the fluff is short and uniform, and its color tone should be consistent. The inside of the shoe is part of the upper, which is used to reinforce the upper, prevent the upper from stretching and deform, and improve the feel of the foot. Therefore, good shoe lining materials (such as real leather shoe linings) should have good touch, breathability and moisture removal, and not easy to discolor. In sewing, there should be no wrinkles and fat edges in the shoe.
